6 Machine administrator setting6-82 CS655 Pro6.6 05 Network Setting6.6.1 01 Machine NIC SettingControl the NIC settings such as the IP address and line speed of the machine.1 Follow the procedure on page 6-3 to display the Machine Administrator Setting Menu Screen.2 Touch [05 Network Setting], and then [01 Machine NIC Setting].The Machine NIC Setting Screen will be displayed.3 Specify the following items.– Enter numeric values using the touch panel keypad. After entering a value, touch Set. The next itembecomes highlighted for setting. Continue in this manner.IP Address: Enter the IP address of the machine.Subnet Mask: Enter the subnet mask.Gateway Address: Enter the gateway address.DNS Server 1/DNS Server 2: To specify the mail server by the host name, enter the IP address ofthe DNS server to DNS Server 1 or 2. When using two DNS servers, enter the IP address to both ofthem.To enable this setting change of the DNS server, the main body needs to be rebooted. Touch [OK],and turn off then on the sub power switch.Line Speed Setting: Specify the line speed of the network. Choose from the options provided.4 Touch [OK] to complete the setting.– To cancel the change, touch [Cancel].In either case, the Network Setting Menu Screen will be restored.5 If further changes are required, touch the desired key.
