This is suitable for sending alarge amount of data such as high-resolution da-ta.PC (SMB) Scanned data will be sent directly to a specificcomputer on the network.To send a file by SMB, you must configure sharedfile settings in Windows on the computer receiv-ing the data in advance.WebDAV In a network environment that contains a Web-DAV server, send scanned data to the specifiedfolder in the WebDAV server.WebDAV, which is an extension to the HTTPspecification, provides the same security technol-ogies as HTTP. SSL-encrypted communicationwith the WebDAV server enhances file transmis-sion security.Fax function Fax Specify the destination fax number to sendscanned data. You cannot send or receive colorimages.Network fax function Internet fax transmis-sionSend scanned data as an E-mail attachment(TIFF format) via the intranet (in-house network) orthe Internet. You can send or receive color imag-es by fax.IP address fax trans-missionSend or receive faxes over the IP network. Spec-ify the IP address, host name or E-mail address ofthe destination to send scanned data. Fax trans-mission is limited within an intranet. You can sendor receive color images by fax.
