Incorrect driver isinstalled.Install an appropriate driver.Printer’s output isbelow rated speed.Much of the printingdelays will be caused byyour application.Sometimes purely textdocuments will printslowly depending on theselected fonts and howthey are transferred tothe printer.For maximum speed, use text in yourdocument and use a printer resident font.Size of top marginincreases with eachpage printed.Creeping text. Numberof lines per page insoftware is not equal tonumber of lines perpage of printer.Many software packages assume 66 linesper page, but your printer’s default is 64.Adjust software accordingly, or set LINESPer PAGE in the soft control panel to equallines per page in your software.SYMPTOM PROBLEM SOLUTIONGraphic image printspartly on one page,partly on the next.Insufficient printermemory for this imageat this resolution.Change the resolution, reduce the imagesize, or install more memory in yourprinter.When you try toprint nothinghappens, but printerindicates it is readyto receive data.Configuration error.
