PARTS REPLACEMENTThis section covers the procedures for the disassembly, reassembly and installations in the field.This section describes the disassembly procedures, and for reassembly procedures, basically proceedwith the disassembly procedures in the reverse order.3.1 Precautions Concerning Parts Replacement(1) Parts replacements must be carried out, by first turning the printer power switch off “O” andremoving the printer from the High Capacity Second Paper Feeder.(2) Do not disassemble the High Capacity Paper Feeder if it is operating normally.(3) Establish the extent of disassembly suitable for the purpose of the procedure, and do notdisassemble any more than necessary.(4) Only specified service tools may be used.(5) Disassembly must be carried out according to the prescribed procedures.
