The self-diagnostic test results and configurationsettings are printed.On the first page of the Network Information that is printed out, under theheading “General Information” the MAC or Ethernet Address is given. Forexample:MAC Address 00:80:87:D4:FA:00DEFAULT USER NAME AND PASSWORDTo apply configuration changes using a Web browser, you will be promptedfor a username and password. The username is ‘root’ and the defaultpassword is the last six characters of the Ethernet (MAC) address, e.g.‘D4FA00’ (any alpha characters must be in upper case).You can change the root password to allow you to change settings andconfigure the printer through the Web browser.
