Therefore, to ascertain the sensitivity in advance, check the output value ofthe sensor by passing media of known thickness through the printer equipped with the sensor. The sensitivity is fixed based on the output value.Adjustments must be made when the paper thickness sensor, the registration roller and thePU board are replaced.By passing, from the multipurpose tray, four sheets of paper whose thickness has beenmeasured with a micrometer (MDQ-30M, MDQ-30), the correction value for media thicknesssensitivity is automatically set with the first three sheets. Check the media thickness detectionvalue with the fourth sheet.Media: Transparency (42404301)Paper thickness difference: Within ±10μm3.4.1 Applicable Operating Systems and Interfaces, and File RequiredI/FCentronicsUSBCentronicsUSBFile TypeNo file requiredUSB driverNo file requiredFile NameNo file requiredOki USB Driver forWin98.exeNo file requiredRemarksThe interface port must be checked for itsbidirectional setting. With the insertion of a USB, installation screendisplay is provided.InapplicableOSWin9x Series(95/98/Me)Win2000/XPSoftware: AdjustmentMM.exe (Ver. 1.12) File Required: Opusbase.dllNote: For use of a Centronics interface, the interface port must be checked for its bidirectionalsetting.Checking: Check the parallel port is set to bidirectional in the BIOS setup (Parallel Modeparameter: Bi directional.
