47Using the Bluetooth InterfaceTo print using the Bluetooth-enabled version of the printer, youneed to have a Bluetooth-enabled computing device. Two moresteps are required.1. Check the DIP Switches:ï The printerís DIP switches are factory set forBluetooth operation. Check that DIP switch 1 is OFFand DIP switch 2 is ON. This is the main setting forBluetooth operation. In case you need to reset otherswitches, refer to the full DIP-Switch table in the nextchapter, Interface Specifications.2. Synchronize Bluetooth settingsï After setting the DIP-switches, the next step is to ensurethat both bluetooth devices are configured to operate withthe same PIN code and Authentication mode settings.Refer to the instruction manual of the computing device fordetails on how to set these parameters.Note: When printing with the Bluetooth interface, the usablerange between the printer and the host may varydepending on the usage environment and the capabilitiesof the connected devices.
