17Getting started11 Getting startedAttaching the strap1 Pass the lens cap string through thehole in the lens cap, then pass theother end through the loop and pulltight.2 Pull the ends of the strap out of thestopper and ring.3 Thread one end of the strap Athrough the string loop (attached tothe lens cap in step 1). Then threadit through the strap eyelet on thecamera.4 Thread the end of the strap Bthrough the ring as indicated by thearrows. Adjust the strap to thedesired length.5 Then thread the end of the strapback through the stopper C asindicated by the arrows. Pull thestrap at D to make sure it isfastened securely.6 Attach the strap to the other eyeletfollowing steps 3 to 5.• Be careful with the strap when you carry the camera, as it can easilycatch on stray objects, causing injury or damage.• Attach the strap correctly as shown above so that the camera doesnot fall off. If the strap is attached incorrectly and the camera fallsoff, Olympus is not responsible for any damages.StopperRingADBCNote
