Theexternal flash will fire even when the camera's flash mode is set to OFF.● Check the following before using a commercially available external flash:• Some flashes available on the market operate with a high voltage synchroterminal. If one of these is used, it may not function normally. Contact themanufacturer of the flash you are using concerning the specifications ofthe flash's synchro terminal.• Some flashes available on the market have the polarity of the synchroterminal reversed. In this case, even if the flash is connected, it will notfire.
