For reuse, confirm that the O-ring is free of damageand cracks, that it has sufficient elasticity, that the surface isfree of stickiness and other abnormalities, and use it afterapplying a thin coat of the special grease. Excessive applicationof grease does not improve the waterproof function or thepermissible withstand pressure. It will cause sand and dust toadhere more easily. A thin, uniform coat produces the bestresult.4 The O-ring is a consumable part. Replace it at least once ayear.5 Deterioration of the O-ring is accelerated by the use conditionsand the storage conditions.
