26EnCAUTION• Do not remove batteries immediately after using the camera. Batteries maybecome hot during prolonged use.• Always unload the battery from the camera before storing the camera for a longperiod.• If NiMH batteries are not charged within the specified time, stop charging themand do not use them.• Do not use a battery if it is cracked or broken.• If a battery leaks, becomes discolored or deformed, or becomes abnormal in anyother way during operation, stop using the camera.• If a battery leaks fluid onto your clothing or skin, remove the clothing and flush theaffected area with clean, running cold water immediately. If the fluid burns yourskin, seek medical attention immediately.• Never subject batteries to strong shocks or continuous vibration.Batteries whose bodies areonly partially or not at allcovered by an insulatingsheet.Batteries whose - terminalsare raised, but not coveredby an insulating sheet.Batteries whose terminalsare flat and not completelycovered by an insulatingsheet. (Such batteries cannotbe used even if the -terminals are partiallycovered.)• The following AA batteries cannot be used.
