When not using the IV hanger rod, close the hook, make the pole as shortas possible, and properly store it in the storage holder located at the trayunder the back section base. If not stored properly, the IV hanger rod mayhit other parts when the height of the stretcher is adjusted, resulting indeformation or damage of the IV hanger rod or stretcher. When using an IV hanger rod, do not put hands or arms in betweenthe mattress base or transfer board and the IV hanger rod. Handsor arms may get caught and injured. Each hook's load capacity is 1 kg.
