COMMISSIONINGCOMMISSIONING TESTS & ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURESGAS INLET PRESSURE TESTIMPORTANT – Check the gas supply pressure at the gas inlet to the heater with all other gas burning appliances inthe premises operating (burners alight). The minimum gas supply pressures are:• Natural Gas: 1.13 kPa• Propane: 2.75 kPaIf this minimum cannot be achieved, it may indicate the meter or the gas line to the heater is undersized. It isimportant to ensure that an adequate gas supply pressure is available to the heater when all gas burning applianceson the same gas supply are operating.The maximum gas pressure must NOT exceed 3.5 kPa.SETTING HEATER FLUE TYPEThe controller must be set according to the heater flue type at time of commissioning. Combustion fan speed isautomatically adjusted according to the flue type setting to aid combustion.Perform the following procedure to set the heater flue type:1. Ensure heater is unplugged from power point.2. Remove four screws retaining front louvre. Two screws are located on left hand side of louvre and two screwsare located on right hand side of louvre. Screws are accessed through louvres.3. Remove front louvre by pulling louvre away from heater.4. Remove lower front panel by simultaneously depressing tabs located onbottom of heater sides and pulling lower front panel away from heater.5. Remove two screws retaining front panel (screws are located on bottomcorners of front panel).6. Remove front panel as follows: Slide front panel to the right, push it down todisengage retaining tabs and then pull panel away from heater.7. Plug heater into power point and switch power point ON.8. Press and hold controller 'Adjuster Button 2' for two seconds and release thebutton when the control panel display shows the current flue configurationsetting ('00', '01' or '02').9. Press and release the ▲ or ▼ button to change the flue type setting accordingto the installations flue configuration (refer to 'Flue Type Setting Table' onpage 26).10. Press and hold 'Adjuster Button 2' for two seconds and release the buttonwhen the control panel display goes blank. The flue type setting has now beenset.11. Isolate power supply to heater by unplugging heater from power point.12.
