Note that partially deleted clips cannot berestored by canceling.This section describes how to restore bad clips that havebeen damaged due sudden power outages during recordingor for other reasons. Such clips are marked by the bad clipindicator (yellow ). Use the following procedure to repairbad clips.1 Open the thumbnail screen.2 Select the bad clip to repair.3 Press the MENU button.4 Use the Up/Down/Left/Right cursor buttons tochoose the OPERATION - REPAIR CLIP menusetting and press the SET button.5 Select YES in the confirmation message thatappears and press the SET button.Select NO when you do not want to repair the clip.◆ NOTE:• Some clips are so badly damaged they cannot be repaired.Such clips are indicated by a red .A clip spanning multiple P2 cards that cannot be recognizedas a complete clip is marked by the incomplete clip( indicator).
