We recommendusing a dedicated authentication device and using basicauthentication.Using host authentication on HD integrated cameras• To connect via host authentication on cameras equipped with ahost authentication function, refer to the operating instructions of thecamera to be connected and configure the appropriate settings.Be sure to set the access level to “Administrator.”Usage restrictions• We recommend connecting the unit, controller, and any computers tothe same network segment.Events based on settings inherent to the network devices, for example,may occur in connections that include different segments, so be sureto perform checks prior to operation.9Before use (continued)
