Using this compression format, you can record the con-tents of about 10 music CDs on a single CD (This figure refers todata recorded on a 650 MB CD-R or CD-RW at a fixed bit rate of128 kbps and a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz).DivX: The video compression format developed by DivX, Inc.compresses video files without any considerable loss of videoquality.Note:¡MP3/DivX encoding and CD writing software programs are notsupplied with this unit.Points to remember when making MP3/DivX filesCommon¡High bit rate and high sampling frequency are recommendedfor high quality sound.¡Selecting VBR (Variable Bit Rate) is not recommendedbecause playing time is not displayed properly and sound maybe skipped.¡The playback sound quality differs depending on the encodingcircumstances.
