If you move the flap by hand, the flapposition according to the remote controller and the actualflap position may no longer match. When cleaning the grille, be careful not to force thevanes out of place.FilterThe filter behind the front panel should be checked and cleaned atleast once every two weeks.How to remove the filter1. Grasp both ends of the front panel and pull forward and up toopen the front panel.2. Lift the filter up slightly to disengage it from the protrusions on theunit.3. Pull downward to remove the filter from the unit.CleaningUse a vacuum cleaner to remove light dust. If there is sticky dust onthe filter, wash the filter in lukewarm, soapy water, rinse it in cleanwater, and dry it.How to replace the filter1. Insert the top of the filter, and then secure the bottom of the filterwith the protrusions on the unit.2. Close the front panel by pushing the center of the front panel andthen pressing both edges until the panel clicks into place.1. For safety, be sure to turn the airconditioner off and also todisconnect the power beforecleaning.2. Do not pour water on the indoor unitto clean it.
