VQT1U5026PreparationNote• The clock is displayed when [DISPLAY] is pressed several times during recording.• You can set the year from 2000 to 2099.• If the date is not set in the camera it will not be printed correctly when you use a photo printingservice, even if the store provides a date printing option for your photographs.• If the clock is set, the correct date can be printed even if the date is not displayed on the screenof the camera.Setting the MenuThe camera comes with menus that allow you to set the settings for taking pictures andplaying them back just as you like and menus that enable you to have more fun with thecamera and use it more easily.In particular, the [SETUP] menu contains some important settings relating to the camera’sclock and power. Check the settings of this menu before proceeding to use the camera.∫ Functions that cannot be set or will not work under some conditionsDue to the camera’s specifications, it may not be possible to set some of the functions orsome functions may not work in some of the conditions under which the camera is used.For details, refer to P143.!
