47VQT1U50BasicIn programme AE mode, you can change the presetaperture value and shutter speed without changing theexposure. This is called programme shift.You can make the background more blurred bydecreasing the aperture value or record a moving subjectmore dynamically by slowing the shutter speed whentaking a picture in programme AE mode.1 Press the shutter button halfway and display the aperture value and shutterspeed value on the screen.2 While the values are displayed (about 10 seconds), perform the programmeshift by rotating the front dial.• It will switch between programme shift operation and exposure compensation operation (P63)every time the front dial is pressed while the values are displayed.• The programme shift indication A appears on the screen when programme shift is activated.• To cancel programme shift, turn the camera off or rotate the front dial until the programme shiftindication disappears.∫ Example of programme shiftWhen 14 –45 mm/F3.5– 5.6 lens included in DMC-G1K/DMC-G1W is usedNote• How the exposure compensation is switched can be changed by [EXPO.
