Quick Start for Recording on DVD-RAM and HDDFrom the power off state, recording on DVD-RAM and HDD startsabout 1 second after first pressing the Power button and thensequentially pressing the REC button (Quick Start Mode).HDD recordingYou can keep on recording your favorite programmes to an internalHDD that is able to record up to 142 hours [EP (8 Hours) mode].You can also high speed transfer (dub) your favorite programmes toDVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW (DVD-Video format) or +R and create abackup disc.SD card slotThe SD card slot of this unit lets you play digital camera photographsand transfer (dub) them from a card to DVD-RAM for easy storagewithout using a computer.Instant playThere is no need to rewind or search forward. Direct Navigatorguides you to the beginning of the recorded video immediately.Chasing playbackThere is no need to wait until recording is complete.
