TroubleshootingVQT4C7186Troubleshooting guideThe available recording time doesn’t increaseeven after deleting titles on the disc.• [DVD-R] [+R] Available space on the disc does notincrease even after deleting titles.• [DVD-RW] [+RW] Available space on the discincreases when you delete the last title.Cannot edit.• You may not be able to edit on the HDD if thereis no available space. Delete any unwantedtitles to create empty space. (> 35)Cannot create a playlist.• Creation or editing of playlists cannot be doneon this unit.The contents of the SD card cannot be read.• Remove the card from the slot and then insertagain. If this does not solve the problem, switchthe unit to standby mode and turn it on again.Copying, deleting and setting protection takesa long time.• When there are a lot of folders and files, it maysometimes take a long time.Pictures do not play back normally.• The images that were edited on the PC, such asPROGRESSIVE JPEG, etc., may not play back.(> 95)Tracks could not be copied to the HDD.• Copyright protected tracks such as SCMSrestrictions will not be copied.• Recording from CDs that do not conform to CD-DA specifications (copy control CDs, etc.)cannot be guaranteed.This unit does not recognize the USB devicecorrectly.• If inserted during playback the USB device maynot be recognized by this unit.Disconnect and reconnect the USB device. If itstill does not recognize the connection, switchthe unit to standby mode and turn it on again.• USB devices connected using a USB entensioncable other than a dedicated one or a USB hubmay not be recognized by this unit.The TV Guide information is not displayedproperly.• Set the clock correctly.
