The decision to repair or replace will be made by the warrantor.During the “Labor” Limited Warranty period there will be no charge for labor. Duringthe “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must mail-in yourproduct during the warranty period. If non-rechargeable batteries are included, theyare not warranted. This Limited Warranty only applies to products purchased andserviced in the United States or Puerto Rico. This Limited Warranty is extended only tothe original purchaser and only covers product purchased as new. CUSTOMER WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE REPAIR OF ANY UNITRECEIVED WITHOUT SUCH PROOF OF PURCHASE.Limited Warranty Limits And ExclusionsThis Limited Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship,and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The Limited WarrantyALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or failures which arecaused by products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from accidents,misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-upadjustments, misadjustment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power linesurge, lightning damage, modification, or commercial use (such as hotel, office, restaurant,or other business), rental use of the product, or service by anyone other than a FactoryServicenter or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributable to acts of God.THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LISTED UNDER “LIMITEDWARRANTY COVERAGE”. THE WARRANTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL ORCONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, ORARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. (As examples, this excludesdamages for lost time, cost of having someone remove or re-install an installed unit ifapplicable, travel to and from the servicer, loss of or damage to media or images, data orother recorded content. Servicing—Do not attempt to service the unit beyond that describedin these operating instructions. Refer all other servicing to authorizedservicing personnel.3.
