This time varies greatly depending on the conditionand mode of recording.Tips After you have finished recording or copying and try toeject the disc, a screen asking if you want to finalise thedisc appears (¼ 21).Create Top Menu[+RW]+RW discs contain no Top Menu data. As this unit does not offer seamlessrecording on two layers, recording stops when space on thefi rst layer becomes full. You must close the first layer to startrecording on the second layer. Closing makes the fi rst layerunavailable for recording (editing is still possible).Perform preparation steps − of “Accessing theManagement Menus” (¼ 56). Press [, ] to select “Close First Layer”, thenpress [OK]. Press [] to select “Yes”, then press [OK]. Press [] to select “Start”, then press [OK]. Press [OK] to complete.Notes The first layer cannot be closed when there is norecording on it. Closing cannot be cancelled once started. Do not disconnect the AC mains lead while closing thelayer. This can render the disc unusable.
