9Safety precautionsCaution - To reduce the risk of per-sonal injury, electric shock or fire :• Always unplug the Charger whennot in use. Always grasp the plugwhile unplugging and neverunplug by pulling the cord.• Do not cut, damage, or modify thecord. Do not pull, twist, or bend thecord with unnecessary force. Donot place heavy objects on the cordor allow the cord to get pinched inbetween objects. Do not wind thecord around the appliance.• The supply cord of this appliancecan not be replaced; if the cord isdamaged, the appliance shouldbe discarded.• Do not use the appliance nearinflammable materials, such asbenzene, paint thinner, sprays, etc.• Do not use this appliance with adamaged or broken cup, sinceinjury may be occurred.• When using the appliance, take careto use it only on the nose. Do notstop at any one point on the skin.• Do not use the appliance on pim-ples, blemishes, sunburned or bro-ken skin or any skin inflammations.• Do not pass the appliance overthe same point more than threetimes if you have sensitive skin.• Never touch the Charger plugwhile your hands are wet.• Do not place or store the Chargernear water.• Never reach for Charger that has fall-en into water. Unplug immediately.• Before charging the appliance,wipe off any moisture from theappliance and Charger.• Keep the appliance away fromchildren.• Use the appliance only for itsintended use as described in thismanual.• Do not charge the appliance if youhave damaged it by dropping orknocking it.• Unplug the Charger before cleaning.• Do not use thinner, benzene, orany other solvents to clean theappliance.• Do not charge the appliance wherethe temperature is below 0 degreesCelsius or above 40 degreesCelsius, or when exposed to directsunlight, heat or excessive moisture.• Use only the included Charger(RE6-14).• Dry the appliance completelybefore setting it in the Charger.• Do not use an extension cord toconnect the Charger to an electri-cal outlet.• Do not leave the appliance sub-merged in water for long periodsof time.• Rinse the appliance in tap water;do not use salt water, detergent orboiled water.• Do not try to repair the applianceyourself. Doing this will invalidatethe guarantee. A damaged ordefective appliance should bereturned to a Panasonic customerservice center or to an authorizedcustomer service agent.
