INTENDED USEThese tools can be used to tightenscrews in clutch mode and to drillholes in wood and metal in drillmode. ADDITIONALSAFETY RULES1) Wear ear protectors.Exposure to noise can causehearing loss.2) Use auxiliary handle suppliedwith the tool.Loss of control can cause personalinjury.3) Hold power tools by insulatedgripping surfaces when per-forming an operation where thecutting tool may contact hiddenwiring; contact with a “live” wire willmake exposed metal parts of thetool “live” and shock the operator.4) Wear a dust mask, if the workcauses dust.5) Be aware that this tool is always inan operating condition, since itdoes not have to be plugged intoan electrical outlet.6) When drilling or driving into walls,floors, etc., "live" electrical wiresmay be encountered. DO NOTTOUCH THE CHUCK OR ANYFRONT METAL PARTS OF THETOOL! Hold the tool only by theplastic handle to prevent electricshock in case you drill or drive intoa "live" wire.7) If the bit becomes jammed, im-mediately turn the trigger switchoff to prevent an overload, whichcan damage the battery pack ormotor.Use reverse motion to loosenjammed bits.8) Do NOT operate the For-ward/Reverse lever when thetrigger switch is on. The batterywill discharge rapidly and dam-age to the unit may occur.9) During charging, the chargermay become slightly warm. Thisis normal.
