11For UKFor your safety, please read the following textcarefully.This appliance is supplied with a moulded three pinmains plug for your safety and convenience.A 3 ampere fuse is fitted in this plug.Should the fuse need to be replaced please ensurethat the replacement fuse has a rating of 3 ampereand that it is approved by ASTA or BSI to BS1362.Check for the ASTA mark A S Aor the BSI markon the body of the fuse.If the plug contains a removable fuse cover youmust ensure that it is refitted when the fuse isreplaced.If you lose the fuse cover the plug must not beused until a replacement cover is obtained. Areplacement fuse cover can be purchased fromyour local dealer.If the fitted molded plug is unsuitable for thesocket outlet in your home then the fuse shouldbe removed and the plug cut off and disposed ofsafely.There is a danger of severe electrical shock if thecut off plug is inserted into any 13-ampere socket.How to replace the fuseThe location of the fuse differs according to thetype of AC mains plug (figures A and B).Confirm the AC mains plug fitted and follow theinstructions below.
