6INSTALLATIONGENERALPlease read this guide completely beforeinstallation or use of the modules.OPERATING CONDITIONSPanasonic recommends that modules beoperated within the following OperatingConditions. An installation location withconditions beyond the Operating Condi-tions or with other Special Conditions(see below) should be avoided. Operat-ing Conditions of Panasonic modules areas follows:1) The modules should be operated onlyin terrestrial applications. No space orother special conditions.2) The operating temperature must bewithin –40°C to 85°C.3) The relative humidity should be within45% to 95%.4) The wind pressure load of the installa-tion site should be less than the loadresistance shown in “Mount Locationsand Load Resistance” table in Figure 1.UNPACKING AND HANDLING Do not hit the back sheet of a mod-ule by the connector when unpack-ing and handling. Please do not expose the connectorthe rain water and dust . To avoid the damage of the backsheet by the connector, fix the ca-bles to the frame with tape afterunpacking. (refer to Figure 4) Do not handle modules by theircables or junction box. Handle themby the frame with both hands in anysituation. The anti-reflection glass of the mod-ule is easy to be soiled, when it isgrasped by hand or hand gloves. Soit is recommended to hold card-board or frames when carrying orinstalling the solar module. Whencables and connectors touch thesurface of the glass, it may soil thesurface too. It is also recommendedto avoid contact of cables and con-nectors with surface of the glass. (Ifthe glass surface becomes dirty, seesection of "anti-reflection glass sur-face cleaning".)Figure 4. Fixing of cablesand connectors
