If a restrictednumber is dialled, the call will not beconnected and the restricted number willflash on the display.1 Press {j/OK}.2 Select “Base Unit Setup”, thenpress {>}.3 Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).L If you changed the PIN, enter it (page27).4 Select “Call Options”, then press{>}.5 Select “Call Restrict”, then press{>}.6 Set which handsets will be restricted bypressing the desired handset number.L All the registered handset numberswill be displayed.L Flashing numbers indicate callrestriction is turned on for thecorresponding handset.L To turn call restriction off for a handset,press the number again. The numberwill stop flashing.7 Press {j/OK}.8 Select a memory location, then press{>}.L If the memory location alreadycontains a restricted number, thenumber is displayed.9 Enter the phone number or area code tobe restricted (8 digits max.), then press{j/OK}.L To erase a restricted number, press{C/T}.10 Press {ih}.Other optionsChanging the base unit PIN(Personal Identification Number)For security, the base unit PIN must beentered when changing certain settings.
