Making CallsBasic OperationFor assistance, please call: 1-800-211-PANA(7262) 21Using the Base UnitTo adjust the speakervolume (8 levels) whiletalkingTo increase volume, pressVOLUME [ ].To decrease volume, pressVOLUME [ ].• If you try to increase/decreasevolume when it is at the maximum/minimum level, the base unit will beep3 times.To redial the last numberdialed on the base unitPress [SP-PHONE] then[REDIAL].To put a call on holdPress [HOLD].• The SP-PHONE indicator flashes.To return to the call, press[SP-PHONE].• The handset user can return to thecall by pressing [ ] or [ ], or liftingthe handset off the base unit.• If another phone is connected on thesame line, you can also return to thecall by lifting its handset.• If a call is kept holding for 6 minutes,an alarm tone will start to sound. After4 additional minutes on hold, the callwill be disconnected.• The alarm volume corresponds to theringer volume level (p. 16).
