Line access number [9] (PBX)[9] Pause or P• Pressing Pause or P once creates a 3.5 second pause.This prevents misdialing when you dial after confirmingthe entered number (p. 19) or dial a stored number (p. 32).• Pressing Pause or P more than once increases the length of the pause betweennumbers.FLASH ButtonPressing [FLASH/CALL WAIT] allows you to use special features of your host PBXsuch as transferring an extension call, or access optional telephone services suchas call waiting.• Pressing [FLASH/CALL WAIT] cancels the following operations:— temporary tone dialing, or— muting your conversation.Selecting the flash timeThe flash time required depends on your telephone exchange or host PBX.You can select the following flash times: “700, 600, 400, 300, 250, 110, 100 or90 ms (milliseconds)”.
