Ifyou subscribe to Caller ID, the caller’s name and phone number will be displayedand recorded in the Caller List.How caller information is displayed and a caller’s name isannounced when a call is receivedWhen a call comes in, the unit will ring and caller IDinformation will be received. Once caller ID information isreceived, the handset display shows the caller’sinformation, then the handset and base unit willannounce the displayed name (ex. “Call from ROBINSON,TINA”) following every ring (Talking Caller ID feature).• After you answer the call, the display will show the length of the call.• If the unit does not receive caller ID information, one of the following will bedisplayed:• If your unit is connected to a PBX which does not support Caller ID, you cannotaccess Caller ID service.• The name display service may not be available in some areas.
