Useful Information48 For assistance, please call 1-800-211-PANA (7262).Caller IDCopying stopped with anitem displayed.L The destination handset may have lost communicationwith the base unit, or the destination handset user mayhave pressed {C} or {s}.The displayed phonebook item was not copied to thehandset. Press {OFF}. Confirm that the destinationhandset is in standby mode (i.e., not in use) and tryagain.The display exits thephonebook whilesearching.L The handset automatically exits after 1 minute ofinactivity.Problem Cause & solutionThe handset does notdisplay the caller’s nameand/or phone number.L You have not subscribed to Caller ID service. Contactyour telephone company to subscribe.L If your unit is connected to any additional telephoneequipment such as Caller ID box or wireless telephonejack, disconnect the unit from the equipment and plugthe unit directly into the wall jack.L If your unit is connected to a telephone line with xDSLservice, we recommend connecting a noise filterbetween the base unit and the telephone line jack.Contact your xDSL provider for details.L The name display service may not be available in someareas. Contact your telephone company for details.L Other telephone equipment may be interfering with thisunit. Disconnect the other equipment and try again.L The caller requested not to send caller information(page 25).L If a call is being transferred to you, the caller informationwill not be displayed.L Generally caller information is displayed from the 2ndring.The caller list/incomingphone numbers are notedited automatically.L The Caller ID number auto edit feature is turned off.Turn it on and try again (page 36).L You need to call back the edited number to activateCaller ID number auto edit.I cannot dial the phonenumber edited in thecaller list.L The phone number you dialed might have an incorrectedited pattern (for example, the long distance “1” or thearea code is missing). Edit the phone number withanother pattern (page 27).The display exits thecaller list while searching.L The handset automatically exits after 1 minute ofinactivity.Problem Cause & solution
