Preparation13Battery performanceAfter your Panasonic battery is fullycharged, you can expect the followingperformance:*1 Handset is off the base unit or chargerbut not in use.Note:L Battery power is consumed wheneverthe handset is off the base unit orcharger, even when the handset is not inuse. The longer you leave the handsetoff the base unit or charger, the shorteryou can actually talk on the handset.Actual battery performance depends ona combination of how often the handsetis in use and how often it is not in use.L Once the battery is fully charged, you donot have to charge it again until“Recharge battery” is displayed or7 flashes. This will maximise thebattery life.Battery replacementIf battery performance diminishes, makesure you have cleaned the chargecontacts and fully charged the battery.
