Making/Answering Calls20 For assistance, please visit http://www.panasonic.com/phonehelpUsing the base unit1 {SP-PHONE}2 Dial the phone number.3 When the other party answers, speakinto the MIC.L Speak alternately with the other party.4 When you finish talking, press {SP-PHONE}.Note:L Use the speakerphone in a quietenvironment.L While on a call, you can switch from thebase unit to the handset:– Press {C} on the handset, thenpress {SP-PHONE} on the base unit.– If the handset is on the base unit,simply lift it.Adjusting the speaker volumePress {^} or {V} repeatedly while talking.Redialing the last number dialed{SP-PHONE} i {REDIAL}Answering callsWhen a call is being received, the ringerindicator on the handset and IN USEindicator on the base unit flash rapidly.Using the handset1 Lift the handset and press {C} or {s}.L You can also answer the call bypressing any button except {^}, {V},{<}, {>}, or {OFF}. (Any key talkfeature)2 When you finish talking, press {OFF}.Note:L You can change the ringer indicator lightcolor and the ringer tone. You can alsoadjust the handset ringer volume (page34).Auto talkThis feature allows you to answer a call bysimply lifting the handset off the base unitor charger.
