Make sure the date and timehave been correctly set (page 23).Memory capacityThe total recording capacity (includingcaller messages and voice memos) isabout 21 minutes.A maximum of 64 messages can berecorded.L If the message memory becomes full,the {MESSAGE} button on the base unitflashes rapidly. Erase unnecessarymessages (page 53).L If less than 3 minutes of recording timeare available, the unit announces theremaining recording time whenoperating the answering system. Eraseunnecessary messages (page 53).Turning the answering systemon/offPress {ANSWER ON} to turn on/off theanswering system.L When the answering system is turnedon, the {ANSWER ON} button lights.L When the answering system is turnedoff, the {ANSWER ON} button turns off.Screening callsWhile a caller is leaving a message, youcan listen to the call through the base unitand handset speakers.
