Multi-unit Operation38 For assistance, please visit http://www.panasonic.com/helpIntercomIntercom calls can be made:– between handsets– between the handset and base unitNote:L If you receive an outside call whiletalking on the intercom, you hear 2tones.To answer the call with the handset,press {OFF}, then press {C}.To answer the call with the base unit,press {SP-PHONE} 2 times.L You can locate a misplaced handsetby paging it (handset locator).L When paging a unit for an intercomcall, the paged unit beeps for 1minute.Making an intercom call1 {INTERCOM}2 {V}/{^}: Select the desired unit. i{Select}L To stop paging, press {OFF}.3 When you finish talking, press{OFF}.1 {LOCATOR/INTERCOM}2 To page a specific handset, enter itsextension number ({1} – {4}).To page all handsets, press {0} orwait for a few seconds.L To stop paging, press {LOCATOR/INTERCOM}.3 When you finish talking, press{SP-PHONE}.Answering an intercom call1 Press {C} or {s} to answer thepage.2 When you finish talking, press{OFF}.1 Press {SP-PHONE} or {LOCATOR/INTERCOM} to answer the page.2 When you finish talking, press{SP-PHONE}.Note for handset and base unit:L When the ringer volume is set to off,the handset or the base unit rings at alow level for intercom calls.Transferring calls,conference callsOutside calls can be transferredbetween the handset and base unit, orbetween 2 handsets.
