You canselect 2 to 7 rings, or “Auto”.The default setting is “4 Rings”.“Auto”: The unit’s answering systemanswers at the end of the 2nd ring whennew messages have been recorded, orat the end of the 5th ring when there areno new messages. If you call your phonefrom outside to listen to new messages(page 39), you know that there are nonew messages when the phone rings forthe 3rd time.
