To useCall Display features, you must subscribeto Call Display service with your telephoneservice provider.Call Display featuresWhen an outside call is being received, thecalling party’s name and telephonenumber are displayed.Caller information for the last 50 callers islogged in the caller list by the most recentcall to the oldest.L Generally caller information is displayedfrom the 2nd ring.L If the unit cannot receive callerinformation, the following is displayed:– “Unavailable Name & No.”: Thecaller dialed from an area which doesnot provide Call Display service.– “Private caller”: The callerrequested not to send callerinformation.– “Long distance”: The caller calledyou long distance.Missed callsIf a call is not answered, the unit treats thecall as a missed call. “Missed call” isdisplayed on the handset display. This letsyou know if you should view the caller listto see who called while you were out.You can view the number of missed callsby pressing {CID} (left soft key).Note:L If you press {CID}, then press {OFF}without viewing all missed calls in thecaller list, “Missed call” disappearsfrom the display. When you receiveanother new call, it is displayed again.Private name displayWhen caller information is received and itmatches a phone number stored in thephonebook, the stored name is displayedand logged in the caller list.Talking Call DisplayTo use this feature, you must subscribe toCall Display service with your telephoneservice provider.This feature lets you know who is callingwithout looking at the display. When a callcomes in, the handset announces thedisplayed caller’s name following everyring. If the information does not include thename information, the phone number isannounced.Note:L When the name announce is set to“On(Number)”, the handset announcesthe phone number rather than the name.L Name pronunciation may vary. Thisfeature may not pronounce all namescorrectly.L Call Display service has a limit of howmany characters can be displayed.
