6.6 Remote AccessSettingsIt is possible to change the settings of the unit from aseparate location via remote access using an intranet.The following network settings are required to enableremote access.Notice• Please gain permission from the customerbefore performing the network settings.Note• To perform the remote access settings, the unitmust be turned on.• The unit cannot be operated while the remoteaccess settings are being performed.Making the Web Port Status Open1. Perform steps 1–7 in "Starting and Operating aTerminal Emulator" (Page 37).2. Enter "httpenable set defenable 1", then press[Enter].3. Enter "syssave", then press [Enter].• The value is saved as configuration data.4. Turn the power off, then back on, to restart the unit.Allowing HTTP AccessPerform network settings so that the unit allows externalHTTP access for maintenance.6.6.1 Updating SoftwareNote• Contact your dealer for more information onobtaining the latest firmware and User Manual.1. From an external maintenance computer, start aWeb browser, then enter the IP address of the unitin the URL field.• An authentication screen is displayed.2. Enter the login user name and login password.• The login user name is "admin" and the defaultpassword is "HDVC_admin".• The Language Selection screen is displayed.3. Click [English] on the Language Selection screen.• The System Operation screen is displayed.4. Click [stop] under [Remote MaintenanceCommands] ® [Communication service] on theSystem Operation screen.41068115. Confirm that [OK] is displayed on the screen, thenclick [Back] on the Web browser.• The System Operation screen is displayed.Note• If [command not available] is displayed, theunit is on a video conference call. Performthe settings again after the videoconference call has finished.• If anything else is displayed, follow theprocedure below to restart the system, thenperform the settings again.1.
