Recording pictures (advanced)512 Press the shutter button halfway.• When the subject is focused, the focusindication 1 lights.• The remaining recording time(approximation) appears on the screen.3 Press the shutter button fully tostart the recording.• The audio recording startssimultaneously from the built-inmicrophone of the camera. (DMC-FX7only)• By pressing the shutter button fullyagain, the recording stops.• If the memory card becomes full duringrecording, the camera stopsautomatically.∫ Available recording time (seconds)• The remaining recording time(approximation) appears on the screen.• The recordable time is an approximation.• You can record audio on DMC-FX7.However, you cannot play audio onlywith the camera. When you want toplay audio, connect the camera to TV(P82) or PC (P85).• The motion images cannot be recordedwithout audio on DMC-FX7.• You cannot record audio on DMC-FX2.• The picture size is fixed to320k240 pixels.• If using a MultiMediaCard, after recordingmotion images, the card access indicationmay appear for a while, but this is not amalfunction.
