Advanced (Recording pictures)- 134 -∫ Setting the colour temperatureYou can set the colour temperature manually for taking natural pictures in different lightingconditions. The colour of light is measured as a number in degrees Kelvin. As the colourtemperature increases, the picture becomes more bluish. As the colour temperaturedecreases, the picture becomes more reddish.1 Select [ ] and then press 1.2 Press 3/4 to select the colour temperature and thenpress [MENU/SET].• You can set a colour temperature from [2500K] to [10000K].For details on [REC] Mode menu settings, refer to P28.Specify a person’s face and use the Face Recognition functions.Applicable modes:[OFF]/[ON]/[MEMORY]/[SET]Note• Refer to P113 for details.For details on [REC] Mode menu settings, refer to P28.This allows the focusing method that suits the positions and number of the subjects to beselected.Applicable modes:¢ [Ø] will be used during motion picture recording.[FACE RECOG.][AF MODE][š]: Face Detection The camera automatically detects the person’s face. The focusand exposure can then be adjusted to fit the face no matterwhat portion of the picture it is in. (max. 15 areas)[ ]: AF Tracking¢ Focus and exposure can be adjusted to a specified subject.Focus and exposure will keep on following the subject even if itmoves. (Dynamic tracking)[ ]: 23-area-focusing¢ Up to 23 points for each AF area can be focused. This iseffective when the subject is not in the centre of the screen.(AF area frame will be same as image aspect ratio setting.)[Ø]: 1-area-focusing The camera focuses on the subject in the AF area on thescreen.
