Playback (basic)49VQT0P65Playback (basic)Playing Back PicturesWhen a card is not inserted, the picturedata in the built-in memory appear. When acard is inserted, the picture data in the cardappear. (P20)1 Select the picture.• 2: Play back the previous picture.• 1: Play back the next picture.• The last recorded picture will be playedback first.• When [ROTATE DISP.] (P72) is set to[ON], pictures recorded by holding thecamera vertically are played backvertically.∫ Fast forwarding/Fast rewindingWhen you keep pressing 2/1 duringplayback, the file number and the pagenumber are updated. If you release 2/1when the number of the desired pictureappears, you can play back the picture.1: Fast forward2: Fast rewind• When you keep pressing 2/1, thenumber of files forwarded/rewound at atime is increased.• If you release 2/1 and press them again,the files will be forwarded/rewound one byone.• In review playback in the recording modeor multi playback, the picture can only beforwarded or rewound one by one.• When you forward or rewind a largenumber of pictures, release 2/1 oncebefore reaching the picture to be playedback, then press 2/1 to forward/rewindpictures little by little.• This camera is based on the DCFstandard (Design rule for Camera Filesystem) which was established by theJapan Electronics and InformationTechnology Industries Association(JEITA).• When changing the folder name or filename on a PC, the pictures will not beplayed back.• The file format that can be played backwith the camera is JPEG. (Even JPEGpictures cannot be played back in somecases.)• When playing back pictures that havebeen recorded with other equipment, thepicture quality may be deteriorated andpictures may not be played back.• When playing back a non-standard file,the folder/file number is indicated by [—]and the screen may turn black.• An interference fringe may appear on thescreen depending on the subject.
