Before using18VQT0T85ª Remote control usable range≥The distance between the remote control andthe camera: Within approx. 5 mAngle: Approx. 10o up and 15o down, left, andrightª Selecting the remote control modeIf 2 cameras are used simultaneously, set themode for one pair of movie camera and remotecontrol to [VCR1] and that of the other pair to[VCR2]. This will prevent interference betweenthe 2 pairs. (The default setting is [VCR1]. Whenthe button-type battery is replaced, the setting willrevert to the default [VCR1].)1 Setting on the camera:Set [SETUP] >> [REMOTE] >> [VCR1] or[VCR2].2 Setting on the remote control:[VCR1]:Press [D] and [∫] simultaneously. 1[VCR2]:Press [E] and [∫] simultaneously. 2ª Concerning the button-type battery≥When the button-type battery runs down,replace it with a new battery (part number:CR2025). The battery is normally expected tolast about 1 year, but it depends on operationfrequency.≥Keep the button-type battery out of the reach ofchildren.≥If the remote control mode of the camera andthat of the remote control do not match witheach other, “REMOTE” will appear. When theremote control is operated for the first time afterthe camera is turned on, “CHECK REMOTEMODE” (-47-) will appear and operation isimpossible. Set the same remote control mode.≥The remote control is intended for indooroperation. Outdoors or under strong light, themovie camera may not operate properly evenwithin the usable ranges.≥Within a 1 metre range, you can operate theremote control from beside the remote controlsensor (LCD monitor side) of the movie camera.WarningRisk of fire, explosion and burns.
