9.1. Mechanical Adjustment9 Measurements and Adjustments9.1.1. ENVELOPE OUTPUT ADJUSTMENTWhen replacing the Main Chassis Unit or the Cylinder Unit, be sure to perform the Envelope Output Adjustment as shown below.1. Remove the Bottom Case Unit, Top Unit and Side R Ass´y (Refer to "Disassembly and Assembly Instructions.").2. Connect the 90 Pin Extension Cable (LSUA0060) between Connector B1 on the Main P.C.B. and B9901 on the Camera P.C.B.3. Connect the AV Cable to the Camcorder.4. Connect the oscilloscope to VIDEO OUT plug "Envelope" and AUDIO R plug "HID."5. Enter the Service Menu (Refer to “Service Menu,” and select item [4].6. Playback the Color Bar Standard Tape (VFM3110EDS). "Envelope" and "HID" will be output.7. Adjust the S1 post by turning the top of post with Post Height Adjustment Fixture so that the left half of envelope signal becomesflat as possible.8.
