Recording Mode20ª Finding the End of Recording(Blank Search Function)The Blank Search Function aids you to locate theend of the recording on the Cassette quickly.1 Set [TAPE RECORDING MENU] or[TAPE PLAYBACK MENU] >> [INITIAL] >>[BLANK SEARCH] >> [YES].≥The [BLANK] Indication appears during theBlank Search.≥Approximately 1 second before the lastrecorded scene, the Movie Camera switchesto the Recording Pause Mode or the StillPlayback Mode.≥If there is no blank left on the Cassette, theMovie Camera stops at the end of the tape.To Cancel Blank Search Before CompletionPress the [∫] Button.ª To Add a Sound while RecordingWith the supplied Free Style Remote Controllerwith Mic connected to the [REMOTE] Socket (38),you can add a narration while recording is inprogress.While the [TALK] Button (92) is pressed, the [ ]Indication is displayed and the sound is recordedfrom [MIC] (88).≥While the [TALK] Button is pressed, the built-inmicrophone does not operate.ª Digital Still PictureYou can record images stilled by Digital StillPicture Mode onto a tape.When the [STILL] Button (17) is pressed, imagesbecome still pictures.
