Record mode21LSQT1290Zoom in/out functionYou can zoom in up to 42k optically.≥Set to Tape Recording Mode.1 Wide-angle recording (zoom out):Push the [W/T] lever towards [W].Close-up recording (zoom in):Push the [W/T] lever towards [T].≥When zooming in and recording images whileholding the movie camera by hand, werecommend using the image stabilizer function.≥When you are zooming on a faraway subject, asharper focus is achieved if the recordingsubject is 1.3 metres or further from the moviecamera.≥When the zoom speed is high, the subject maynot be focused easily.≥When the zoom magnification is 1k, the moviecamera can focus on a subject approx. 2 cmdistant from the lens.≥Be aware that a mechanical sound may berecorded when the [W/T] lever is released whilezooming. Gently move the zoom lever back toit's original possition before releasing it.ª Digital zoom functionIf the zoom magnification exceeds 42 times, thenthe digital zoom function will be activated.
