In addition, special coating of the LCD’s surfacediffuses the light from outside to minimize light reflection, sothe picture has vivid colours and is easy to see.1 Slide the [3OPEN] Lever to the left andsimultaneously open the LCD Monitor in thedirection of the arrow approximately 90x.Closing the LCD MonitorTurn the LCD Monitor back toward the Movie Camera bodyuntil it locks with a click.≥The picture seen on the LCD Monitor looks slightly stretchedvertically, however, the actually recorded picture remainsunaffected by this.≥Return the LCD Monitor to its vertical position before closingit. Also, make sure that the Cassette Compartment issecurely closed before closing the LCD Monitor.≥Opening the LCD Monitor automatically turns the Finder off.However, when you turn the LCD Monitor so that is facesforward, the Finder turns on again.≥When the Movie Camera is very cold when turning it on, thepicture on the LCD Monitor is darker than normally.However, as it reaches normal temperature, it regains itsnormal brightness.≥To remove fingerprints, wipe the LCD Monitor with a softcloth.≥Do not expose the LCD Monitor to direct sunlight. Whensunlight falls onto the LCD Monitor, it may be difficult to viewthe picture.Extremely high precision technology is employed toproduce the LCD Monitor. The result is more than99.99% active pixels with a mere 0.01% of the pixelsinactive or always lit.
