Even if the Operation Switch is set to “OFF”,the tape remains loaded around the head cylinder. The recordinglock mode is activated by setting the Operation Switch to “OFF”during recording pause. This will cancel the memorized title, theImage Stabilizer function as well as the high speed shutter andwhite balance settings.lf the unit remains in the recording pause mode for more than6 minutes, it will automatically turn itself off to protect the tape andsave battery power. (The tape remains wound around the headcylinder. This condition is called “Recording Lock”.) -To switch it on again, set the Operation Switch to “OFF” and thento “CAMERA”.lf the recording lock mode continues for more than 48 hours, it willbe cancelled and the unit will be turned off.
