6.4.1. GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThere is a RAM in the IC6001, which is backing up the followingdata by using the power source of B7751 (Back-up Battery) andC7752 (Back-up Capacitor: Back-up time is approximately 30minutes).1. Programme Navigation Data2. TV Tuning Data3. PG Shifter Adjustment Data4. Option Setting Data6.4.2. REPLACEMENT PROCEDURENOTE:This work should be finished within 30 minutes so thatthe RAM data would not be lost as running out ofcurrent from the Back-up Capacitor C7752.1. Remove the Top Panel and Mechanism unit with MainC.B.A by referring to the Disassembling Procedure.2. Unsolder the Lithium Battery: B7751 and then replace itwith a new one (See Fig. B1).6.4. HOW TO REPLACE THE LITHIUM BATTERYNOTE:The lithium battery is a critical component. It must never be subjected to excessive heat or discharge. It must therefore only be fitted in equipment designed specifically for its use.Replacement batteries must be of the same type and manufacture. They must be fitted in the same manner and location as the original battery, with the correct polarity contacts observed.Do not attempt to re-charge the battery or re-use it for any other purpose. It should be disposed of in waste products destined for burial rather than incineration.13NV-VP60GL / NV-VP60GC / NV-VP60GCS
