When Connecting Refrigerant TubingWARNING• When performing piping work do notmix air except for specified refrigerant(R410A) in refrigeration cycle. Itcauses capacity down, and risk ofexplosion and injury due to hightension inside the refrigerant cycle.• Refrigerant gas leakage may causefire.Do not add or replace refrigerant otherthan specified type. It may causeproduct damage, burst and injury, etc.•• Ventilate the room well, in the event that isrefrigerant gas leaks during the installation.Be careful not to allow contact of therefrigerant gas with a flame as this willcause the generation of poisonous gas.• Keep all tubing runs as short as possible.• Use the flare method for connecting tubing.• Apply refrigerant lubricant to the matchingsurfaces of the flare and union tubes beforeconnecting them, then tighten the nut with atorque wrench for a leak-free connection.• Check carefully for leaks before startingthe test run.• Do not leak refrigerant while piping workfor an installation or re-installation, andwhile repairing refrigeration parts.Handle liquid refrigerant carefully as itmay cause frostbite. When Servicing• Turn the power OFF at the mainpower box (mains) before openingthe unit to check or repair electricalparts and wiring.• Keep your fingers and clothing awayfrom any moving parts.• Clean up the site after you finish, remembering to check that no metalscraps or bits of wiring have been leftinside the unit being serviced.WARNING•••This product must not be modifiedor disassembled under anycircumstances. Modified ordisassembled unit may cause fire, electric shock or injury.Do not clean inside the indoor andoutdoor units by users. Engageauthorized dealer or specialist forcleaning. In case of malfunction of thisappliance, do not repair byyourself. Contact the sales dealeror service dealer for repair.CAUTION••Do not touch the air inlet orthe sharp aluminum fins of theoutdoor unit. You may get injured.Ventilate any enclosed areas wheninstalling or testing the refrigerationsystem. Escaped refrigerant gas,on contact with fire or heat, canproduce dangerously toxic gas.• Confirm after installation that norefrigerant gas is leaking. If the gascomes in contact with a burningstove, gas water heater, electricroom heater or other heat source,it can cause the generation ofpoisonous gas.OthersWARNINGCAUTION•••Do not sit or step on the unit, you may fall downaccidentally.Do not touch the air inlet orthe sharp aluminum fins ofthe outdoor unit.
